On an averagea, a child is reported missing every 40 second. In such cases, parents have no options but to rely on other sources to know about their Child’s whereabouts. eSafe GPS is small, lightweight and easy to carry GPS device for Children safety. It provides turn by turn location, update every 30 seconds and can monitor kids using Cell phone. You can create multiple customized SafeSpot at Home or School etc and get alert when your child leaves that area.

It is frightening that a Child can go missing in seconds. I think it really depends on both your child and the what the device looks like. If the GPS tracking watch looks almost exactly like a normal watch then any kidnapper wouldn't be any the wiser. Unfortunately, most watches I have seen look very ugly and are generally much larger than "real" watches.
On of the draw backs to smaller, more covert devices is that you need to remember to take it out of pockets when a child changes clothes. You definitely don't want to run it through the washing machine and drier! While the GPS may still function after doing this once, I don't think you will want to make a practice of it.
Whatever parents choose, I think they need to know what they are getting themselves into and the corresponding risk/reward for each option.

Hi Brian,

I think it really depends on both your child and the what the device looks like.
